Rise & Remember is doing important anti-racism work through the preservation and telling of stories. With the power of community, memorials, art conservation, pilgrimage journeys, exhibits, youth internships, community events, and memorial caretaking, they work with our neighbors to end lynchings in America.

They house an estimated 5,000+ offerings that have been laid by protestors from around the world at the sacred site of George Floyd Square (GFS). They are working to preserve the offerings with appropriate conservation treatment. Conservation treatment is a delicate and timely process that typically requires the experience of an art conservator. Their goal is to preserve the offerings to maintain our cultural integrity and story. The work of conservation is an essential part of cultural heritage preservation.

They need your help to tell our story to future generations. We invite you to help preserve the memorial with our community.
